As you may or may not have noticed I haven’t posted since Monday.
Apparently life has gotten a bit crazy around these parts.
Like when I went into the kitchen to get this little Lumpkin a drink & I came back to find her like this. So clearly I did the right thing by making sure she was safe & then requiring my 4yr old to get my ipod so I could snap a picture to share on Instagram & Facebook.
No. Big. Deal.
On the up-side – Lucas is *pretty much* potty trained!!!! I am so excited I can’t even tell you. We have done 2 trips out of the house & both times he has gone on the potty while we’re out & stayed dry. Now, before I get ahead of myself let me please explain that the boy has YET to poop on the potty. That boy would rather poop in the yard like a dog or in his underwear. It’s disgusting but frankly I’m just glad I only put a diaper on him at naptime & bedtime. I know, I know, I should have him in undies – but honestly – I don’t feel like changing sheets every other day because he’s had an accident. So this is what we’ll do & I’m sticking to it.
I’ve been not working out the last 4 days. Welcome to real life. I have had meetings each day & haven’t made time for it. Tomorrow, that will be a different story bc I WILL do it! Mark my words.
Also a few days ago we all started to come down with something. Yesterday I for sure thought we were all getting sick. I had a sore throat & had a foggy brain, Cohen just looked terrible & had a low grade temp, Jesse felt the same as me & Abby’s nose was awful. Lucas & Livia were fine as pie though. I loaded us all up with our vitamins & Nutriferon and today only Jesse & Abby are sick. Coincidence??? I think not. Whoop Whoop Shaklee!
Tonight I made home made fajitas. They are the bomb-diggity but unfortunately my stomach hates white flour now, so now that I ate just 2, I’m totally bloated. Boo for that trash. I guess tomorrow I’ll start a 3-day Reset! Also because a friend who’s doing the Turn Around Kit is totally doing it so I’m doing it with her 🙂 See what an awesome coach I am! 🙂
And now it’s 10pm & I’m going to be totally lame & go to bed. Tomorrow we have a home visit for Lucas from the special ed teacher from the base. He just wants to observe him. (remember they are testing him mid-Sept. to see if he qualifies for the program and/or speech) I’ll be sure to let you all know how it goes after the testing is done.
