Oh you guys. You have been such an amazing support system for me! I can’t even tell you how much your comments mean to me. I am now on my 9th month of this (so basically a pregnancy). I am SOOO close yet it feels SOOO far away! I am now about 7lbs to my goal weight – but about 10lbs from my ULTIMATE goal weight.
I wasn’t very active this month aside from the Color Run in London that I did 2 wks ago. For about 2 wks I clocked in over 15miles. I was really proud of myself. This past week I’ve only been doing low impact stuff – situps, pushups & walking. I’ve been doing a 5-Day Reset with a few of the other Shaklee Bloggers. Basically I am having 3 shakes a day plus 2 whole food/high fiber & protein foods. I am drinking a TON of water and still taking all my vitamins. I am still consuming my 1200 calorie diet, just in this way instead of actual meals. It’s just a way to retrain my thinking when it comes to food.
I think what I’ve learned so far in this program & this weight loss journey, is that you really have to change your mindset. It’s about making healthier little choices throughout each and every day but still allowing yourself to live. For me that means making good choices on a daily basis but know that we will have trips & bbq’s & parties where there will be foods I don’t normally have. Sometimes I’ll join in on the foods that are not as healthy & sometimes I won’t. A BIG thing for me is being able to still indulge on foods I like & not feel guilty about it. Training my mind to know that I make healthy choices the majority of the time so it’s okay to indulge on occasion.

I think I need to start adding high impact cardio along with CrossFit WOD’s again. Running is great but it’s starting to take a toll on my knees, so it will be reserved for times that I need a major stress relief. I used to own the Insanity workouts but I lost them….maybe I should invest in them again. The girls are taking great naps & the boys are pretty good so I should be able to squeeze it in a few times a week.
