How I’m Feeling/Updates:
I am feeling huge. Like whoa. I mean, you should check out the comparison from last week to this week. I got a little worried because I had lost weight, but at the same time all of a sudden my tops weren’t fitting and I became really, well – BIG feeling. And, I was right. My belly is 39” around you guys! I know you think I look “soo tiny!” but that is definitely NOT the case. Apparently I just take great shots. Oh, and as far as how many weeks my uterus is measuring – yeah, that’s at 34 weeks.
I got into major decluttering/organizing mode the last few days. I just don’t want to be unprepared when the babies decide to make their grand appearance. And I have a feeling they are coming sooner than the scheduled36-37 wk delivery. For some reason I’ve been thinking they’ll be here in the next 7-8 weeks. So crazy to even think about that, but I’ll be 32 weeks then and the babies will definitely be way small, but they should be okay. Lots of prayers for them to grow as much as possible in the belly is greatly appreciated.
We’ve gotten quite a bit of clothes from various people being generous and sweet, but we still need more. It’s insane to think of how many clothes you need for 2 newborns! Shoot, I remember thinking I was always doing laundry with just one! Especially since my babies are known to be major spitter-uppers. Oh yes, My kids have been the ones to always spit up half of what they eat…even though I know that’s not true. So I just can’t imagine what these girls will do. Yikes!
I started putting together a list for people to help out around here once the girls arrive / if I go on bed rest. I sent out a plea of help to the people that I know around here, and although I hate it and feel so stupid, I know it’s in the best interest of our family to take on as much help as we need since we don’t have family here. I just pray I don’t have to go on bed rest. I can’t even imagine what we’d do if that happened. The docs here did say, “In this country, we don’t really do bed rest.” So, I’m not really sure what to think about that, but whatever works right?? 🙂
These girls move all the time. I say it time and time again. The baby on my left moves far more than the girl on my right. The one on my right just likes to arch her back and make it impossible for me to breathe while the other loves kicking / punching me & her sister.
I started at 127 before I got pregnant – but was trying to get down to 125. So I consider my “goal” weight to be my “start” weight so that I can judge what I’m gaining based off of where I want to be afterwards.

I was super worried a few days ago bc I actually dropped down to like 143.5 lbs. I hadn’t been eating as much as normal and then jumped back on the calorie band wagon and low and behold my weight went back up! Yeah!
The only craving I have been having is guacamole. I eat it almost every day. I figure it’s great extra calories / fat while being healthy! (besides the chips of course) I also had a major craving for a cookies & cream milkshake from baskin robbins, but unfortunately that would be an hour drive away so that didn’t end up happening. Oh well. Maybe this weekend 🙂
2 sweet, bouncy girls!
That’s it folks! My belly is way bigger – don’t you think?!
Any tips / advice on twins – or cooking those babies for as long as possible?
