How I’m Feeling:
I’m feeling pretty good. I’m having a hard time falling sleep at night, I think it’s almost time for me to bust out the body pillow. Waking up multiple times a night to go pee doesn’t help the sleep situation. Thankfully I can usually make up lost sleeping hours with a nap during the day when my kiddos nap.
I’m still feeling “blah” as far as my image of myself. It really just depends on the day though. I’m starting to wonder if the weather is contributing to it as we haven’t had much sunshine. Yesterday it was a gloriously beautiful day and I felt great. So, I blame the lack of sunshine on my blah moods.
This little one is still a MOVER! I looked back at my pregnancy journals from the boys and they were big movers too. This little one will move right after I eat and when I lay down. So I’m thinking this baby will love food and not want to rest. Awesome. lol. Instead of more “movement”, I’m starting to get more kicks and jabs. Last night in bed I was telling Jesse about it and he was like, “Yeah, you won’t be loving all this movement in a few months once they start jabbing into your ribs and it hurts you.” I kindly reminded him that I will just have to enjoy it now 🙂
I started at 127 before I got pregnant – but was trying to get down to 125. So I consider my “goal” weight to be my “start” weight so that I can judge what I’m gaining based off of where I want to be afterwards.
8 week appointment: 129 lbs
17 week appointment: 134 lbs
18 weeks: 135.6 lbs
This week I’m at: 136.2 lbs
Total: 11 lbs
This week I had a craving for a hot corn dip. I wasn’t able to get the ingredients that day, but my sweet friend got them and made it for me the next night. It was just as good as I had anticipated. You should try it. You can thank me later.
Well, besides the feeling “blah” and the occasional moment where something makes me burst into tears – I’m good to go! lol
